This is the vineyard that ignited our love for grape growing and forever changed how we approach wine making. It holds a very special place in our heart. Together, we’ve fought through the pain and heartache but also the incredible payoff that comes from farming your own grapes. The vineyard is farmed by hand exclusively by Dalita and Duncan using aggressive pruning and training techniques and sustainable farming practices. The soil is comprised of layer upon layer of dense rock beds left behind by the creek. Mornings and nights are calm and cool followed by hot summer days. These techniques and conditions combine to give us very low yields and the concentrated yet delicate flavors that our vineyard has grown to become known for. Every year, the vineyard gives us something completely unique and unheard of which has led us to dub it “The Unicorn.” It is truly our pleasure to share the results of the incredibly hard work and love that goes into the farming of this vineyard.
